29 – 31 July 2026, Klang – Orion Maritime successfully conducted a Full Mission Ship Simulator (FMSS) – Marine Risk Assessment (MRA) for the proposed Extension of Night-Time Vessel Movement Operations Between Dry Docks at Pasir Gudang, Johor.

The three-day simulation assessed vessel manoeuvring, navigational safety and operational risks associated with vessel movements during night-time conditions. Various realistic scenarios were evaluated to support the identification of potential hazards and appropriate risk mitigation measures.

The assessment provided valuable insights to support safer operational planning, improved decision-making and effective management of marine risks for the proposed night-time operations.

This initiative reflects Orion Maritime’s continued commitment to enhancing marine safety through advanced simulation and professional risk assessment.
