06 October 2025, Klang – Orion Maritime Academy is proud to announce its official recognition by the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) Singapore as the ICS Liaison Branch in Malaysia.

This strategic collaboration marks an important milestone in Orion Maritime Academy’s commitment to providing internationally recognised commercial shipping education and professional development opportunities in Malaysia.

Through this partnership, Orion Maritime Academy will introduce the ICS Foundation Diploma Programme, providing maritime professionals and university students with greater access to globally recognised qualifications and industry-relevant knowledge.

The collaboration aims to strengthen Malaysia’s pool of skilled commercial shipping professionals, enhance the country’s presence in the global maritime industry, and support the continued development of ICS activities in Malaysia.

This appointment represents another significant step in Orion Maritime Academy’s mission to develop competent, knowledgeable and internationally competitive maritime professionals.
